This is a Public Auto Auction Sale (for General Public & Dealers) held on TUESDAYS @ 6PM and SATURDAYS @ 11AM (1st & 3rd of each month).

 

HOW DO I REGISTER? 

Register at mcgeorgeauction.com or CALL 804-359-1504

*Dealers please have valid Dealer License with expiration date on hand. 

 

HOW DO I BID? 

Attend one of our auctions & McG's will educate you on the rest... its a simple, transparent process. Public must be present to bid on cars, have a bidder badge and be registered @ mcgeorgeauction.com

 

HOW DO I GET A BIDDER #?

Come to our Auction, sign in and you will receive a bidder badge. 

 

HOW CAN I SEE WHAT CARS ARE FOR SALE?

You can see all the cars running in our auction on our website under [VIEW RUN LIST] or physically come see cars during normal business hours


HOW WILL I KNOW IF I WON THE BID? 

The auctioneer will announce on the block whether the vehicle was a sale, no sale or an if a bid sale. *Dealers bidding remotely will be contacted by email if you won a car. 

 

CAN I PREVIEW CARS BEFORE AUCTION?

Yes, preview our entire inventory online under [VIEW RUN LIST] or physically come see cars at 2001 Dabney Road during normal business hours.

 

HOW DO I PAY?

A $500 deposit (public buyers only) must be made at time of sale unless paid in full. All cars must be paid in full and picked up 48hrs. following sale. A Gate Pass (proof of purchase) if given to confirm a sale and must be present at time of pickup.

 

WHAT PAYMENTS ARE ACCEPTED?

We accept certified checks, cash, VISA/MC, Debit card or floor plan (applies to dealer's only). *A 2.9% surcharge for credit cards applied.

Once payment is received, copies of the Bill of Sale with a Gate Pass are given to purchaser. If payment is not received within 48 hours following the auction you forfeit your deposit and vehicle is reset for auction. Purchasing Dealer will not be allowed to purchase at any future McG’s auctions and the vehicle will be placed on the Buy-It-Now Platform and set for the next auction. 


HOW DO I PICK UP MY TITLE?

McG's will call you when your title has been processed and is ready for pickup. Some titles may take up to 7 business days to process.

  

HOW SOON CAN I PICK UP MY CAR? 

Vehicles are released to buyer once they've paid in full and signed a Bill of Sale. Purchaser has 48 hours following auction to pickup their car(s). *McG's will then transfer titles and call you when titles are ready. *A $5 fee 30day temp tag and $3 fee for a temporary transport tag.


*Cars not picked up are towed off the premises at purchaser's expense after 48 hours.
